Opening our doors in December 2006, The Red Cat restaurant provides real food lovers across the North West of England and beyond with an exceptional blend of a relaxed atmosphere, professional and personal service, but most of all cuisine of the highest quality by Head Chef Chris Rawlinson. The building itself has lots of character with original stonework and wooden beams on show. We have retained much of this in our recent refurbishment as well as adding a few comforts like contemporary seating, stylish tables and linen, lounge style sofas and a traditional wood burning stove. We feel the balance between modern and traditional has paid off and creates a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy high standards of food and service. The aim of The Red Cat is to bring authentic cooking techniques using fresh, quality ingredients to the area. Chris works hard to source the best produce from reputable suppliers and we cook almost everything a la minute (at the time of order) to retain the freshness of the ingredients. The food and the kitchen are the backbone of our restaurant.
