This delightful Thai, Family run Restaurant, was one of the first to open in Edinburgh in 1996, and has gone from strength to strength since relocating to Johnston Terrace in June 2005. Across the road from the Hub and within sight of Edinburgh Castle, the Restaurant is modern, uncluttered, comfortable and spacious, leaving the Thai artworks to speak for themselves. The friendly, welcoming staff remain the same, and will help guide you through the exciting new menu which has many new additions including some fantastic seafood dishes. Herbs, spices and vegetables are flown directly from Thailand and quality meat and fish are sourced locally from Proudfoot Butchers in Comely Bank and Eddie’s Seafood in Marchmont. M.S.G. is never used in the preparation of any of our dishes. A warm welcome and the famous Thai smile await you at the Thai Orchid.
