For those of you that don't know The Casa Belmondo was established in 1989 by Giuseppe and soon was joined by son Roberto who have maintained a healthy business for the past 20 years. Giuseppe was originally from Southern Italy near Naples and this is generally what the menu reflects. Nigel Jepson has been a chef with the "Casa" since it opened which gives a great sense of consistency, whilst Roberto's cousin and head Chef Franco Petrillo brings his authentic Italian flair and passion for cooking. The fusion of locally sourced produce with imported authentic Italian ingredients creates a winning combination, with dishes freshly prepared on the premises daily. The menu is so vast you will be spoilt for choice, a wide range of starters including Italian favourites such as Garlic Mushrooms, King Prawns in garlic butter and Calamari starting at just £3.80, and with firm customer favourites such as pork ribs in a speciality sauce and mussels in a white wine, cream and tomato sauce you can't go wrong.
